Progress Report 4/11/12

Today Mommy got my progress report and it was dated 3/20/12.

These are my strengths, as age apropriate: (according to my teachers)
-Alexis' fine and large motor skills are good for her age. She likes to put on and take off the velcro pieces on our color board.
-Alexis enjoys learning. She really likes acting our finger plays. She also likes assembling puzzles.
-Alexis is a very pleasant child. She plays well with her peers.
-Alexis is saying a lot of words very clearly. She enjoys singing sons.

These will be my next developmental milestones, as age appropriate:
-Alexis will continue to work on putting on and taking off her coat, as well as using a spoon and fork. She'll also work on developing her large motor skills.
-Alexis will continue working on identifying basic shapes and numbers. She'll also work on counting to five.
-Alexis will continue working on using words when she wants or needs something.
-Moving forward, Alexis will be encouraged to name people and objects by their correct names.

This is what Mommy and Daddy can help me with to grow and develope, as age appropriate:
-Allow Alexis to use a spoon and fork during meal times. When you are outside playing, let her kick a ball back and forth to you.
-Count the number of people, toys, books, etc in your environment. Identify shapes and colors of her clothes, toys, food, etc.
-Practice gentle touches using babydolls and stuffed animals. Read books about sharing, as well as role-play sharing!
-When you are out, try to point out and name people so Alexis can repeat them. This will help build her vocabulary.

Mommy always says her little girl is growing up so fast...now she sees on paper just how fast I'm learning!

Practice makes perfect!
Help me learn everyone!

Thanks!
Alexis

Happy Easter 2012

Two more days till Easter and I've already had so much fun celebrating!

This was my Easter gift from Mommy and Daddy! I've wanted one of these cars for SO long! (Three of my neighbors have them, so I've had to borrow one everytime I wanted to go for a walk in the car.) Thanks Mommy and Daddy!

The car was a surprise so this was a video of me getting on it for the first time!

This was my Easter basket from my Mom-Mom! Lots of goodies!

Mommy took me to Shady Brook Farms today for an  Easter Egg Hunt/Hay Ride! I got to take a wagon out to a field and I collected six eggs and put them in my pink bag! I got a prize at the end and I chose a purple ball! Wait till you see who I got to see when I got back from the hay ride...

The Easter Bunny!

I was only happy to see him from far away!

Happy East everybody!!!
Love,
Alexis
