Solberry Apple Orchard

Today we went apple picking with The Harpers! It was our first time and it was so much fun!
Take a look.

Ellie, Alexis and Josh

We got to take a wagon ride out to the orchard.

Daddy climed a ladder with me so that Alexis could pick the apple!

This is the bag Alexis used to collect her apples in.

Daddy giving Alexis a bite of an apple they picked!

Here we all are!

Alexis enjoying the apple all to herself.

Walking down the orchard path.

Alexis and Ellie both enjoying their apples.

I think they saw a bee.

A birthday surprise for Alexis!

Shhhhhhhh...its a surprise!

http://disney.go.com/disneyjunior/itsyourbirthday/view?video=F0105077-E8B5-47CB-A7B3-A22771671C6F&cmp=Dcom_djr_bday_vidview_ready_o13_extl

Our plan is to plug our computer in to the big TV so she can see it on the big screen.

She will also get a phone call from Minnie, wishing her a happy birthday, at 6pm on her birthday!

She is one lucky little girl. She is going to love it!

Our Sunday Project

Two yards of dirt, one yard of mulch...

lots of help from Mr. Joe (and Alexis)...

and two Azalea bushes (we think thats what they are)!

Where is Avery, you ask?
In the kitchen area watching!

Alexis got new boots, just so she could help daddy in the dirt!

Alexis's favorite part of the project...throwing dirt!

Alexis taking a break to go down her slide.

We even saw a praying mantis! Pretty cool!

Final project!

Four mums lining the edge. Grass seed planted. Hopefully we'll have new grass (in the dirt area you see) real soon.

We just love this new landscaping and addition to our house! We're looking for it to give us some privacy in to the play room and also help with the water drainage situation.

What do you think?

Who's Who?

What do you think?

 This could be fun!

Avery's two-month check-up

Avery had her two month check-up today. Poor girl got three shots (vaccines) and one oral vaccine. She's a real trooper though!

Here are her stats...

Her height is 1' 11.25" which puts her in the 74 percentile
She weighs 11 lbs 7.6 oz which puts her in the 46 percentile
Her head circumference is 15.75" which puts her in the 87 percentile

The doctor agreed that the Nutramigen is the way to go. She says it's always best to trust your instincts. Unfortunately/fortunately that make two girls who thrive on the expensive stuff! :)

We are also going to stop the Prilosec and see if she actually needs that. My thoughts are, the Nutramigen is all she needs. So thats a good thing.

Here are a few recent pics of both our girls!

Here, Alexis was leaving for school and she just looked so stinkin' cute!
Thanks for checking in!

The new shed and...

The new shed has arrived!
and the new driveway too!

Looks nice right?

Ben is so excited about this driveway. The guys did a really nice job and it looks great!

Alexis's first carnival!

Warrington Days are happening this weekend. Alexis and I went over last night with the Harpers.
This was Alexis's very first carnival ride!
Big trucks, boats, horses and a HUGE slide with mommy!
She loved it!
