February 11th was such a fun day!
I woke up to it snowing outside. Not enough to keep us home-bound and just enough for me to go sledding! It looked pretty on the trees and never stuck to the roads.
Look at my flowers...they are a little confused with the weather this time of year.
We had plans to have dinner with Daddy's cousin Greg and his fiance Miss Andrea. Here I am once I got ready to go, looking out at the snow and one with me and Greg.
Happy 16-month Birthday to me!
Love,
Alexis

Update 2/5/12
Sorry for the delay on posting pictures.
My mommy feels bad and so yesterday my mommy and daddy took me to Chuck E Cheese's to get me out of the house and so mommy could take my picture.
This is me with my cousins, Myranda and Sierrah.
Here I am at Chuck E Cheese's!
Here are few pics of me at the piano and with one of my toys.
Now for an update on my brother or sister!
Mommy's at 17 weeks today with 23 weeks to go. The baby is as big as a Turnip.
This week, the baby is hitting the height chart at five and a half inches long and weighs about five ounces. The baby is learning a new skill this week and it's the art of the yawn. The baby is also moving - doing twists, rolls, kicks, and punches.
February 29th we have our Levl II Ultrasound where they will get a good look at the heart and we'll (possibly) be able to see the sex of the baby...if we want to know! :)
We'll keep you all posted!
Thanks for checking in on our growing family!
Love,
Alexis

Update on Baby #2
Today we are at 14 weeks and 2 days. We have 25 weeks and 5 days to go. We are now in the second trimester! Our little bundle is as big as a Navel orange (4.5 in, 2 to 3 oz).
Our baby is growing by leaps and bounds these days. The baby's neck is getting longer, helping his or her head stand more erect. Our baby could be sprouting some hair and the eyebrows are filling in.
It feels so good to be over the three-month mark and I'm feeling much better than before.
I'll continue to keep you posted!

15-Month Check-up
I had my 15 month check-up today and it came in perfect time. I had lots of questions and concerns.
Here are my updated stats.
I now weigh 20 lbs 8 oz which puts me in the 14.59 percentile based on weight-for-age.
I am 2' 6.51" tall which puts me in the 50.87 percentile based on length.
My head is 18.5" in circumference which puts me in the 79.76 percentile for head circumference. (This is due to me being so smart!)
My doctor is going to fix my cold for good this time and also my "winter-skin".
I go back at 18 months and I will have just one vaccine to complete. Then I should be done for a while!
Sorry, no pictures. Maybe next time.
Love,
Alexis

Sibling update!
My little brother or sister has made remarkable changes in the last few days. Take a look at him/her now!
First we see a left hand...next a foot and in the last picture the tech pointed out it's tongue!
At 11 weeks and 3 days he/she is now the size of a large plum and most of it's systems are fully formed. Now they will mature over the next 28 weeks. It weighs as much as half an ounce now, and the crown-to-rump length is about two and a half inches. Believe it or not the baby has more than doubled in size during the past three weeks. The fetal digestive system is beginning to flex its digestive muscle - literally - as it starts practicing contraction movements, a skill the baby will need after birth to push food through the digestive tract. The pituitary gland at the base of the brain has started producing hormones. The bone marrow is making white blood cells, which will one day help the baby fight infection.
With a due date of Sunday, July 15, 2012 - we have 28 weeks and 1 day to go.
Today, December 31, 2011 we are at 11 Weeks and 6 days and still in the 1st Trimester.
I'm glad I could update you.
Until next time...
Love,
Alexis

Christmas Afternoon with
Mom-Mom and Uncle John!
I got to show Uncle John how some of my toys work.
This was a new Christmas ornament with my name on it.
This was a new baby doll!
Baby!
Here I am reading a book to my baby.
I got my very own Mini Boombox that plays records!
I became so good at opening presents, I was helping my Uncle John.
I got some new spatulas.
And before he had to leave, Uncle John played ball with me!
I also got some money, a gift card, a pretty pink dress, some books, a santa plate and cup and my very own Leap-Frog computer!
I was a very good girl this year! It's been a busy two days so far and I still have yet to see my Aunt Debbie, Uncle Bob and the cousins. Next Friday I get to see my Grammy, Grandpop and the Warren gang!
Thank you everyone for making my second Christmas very special!
I love you all!
XOXO
